Michael Marucci is a veteran artist manager and booking agent who has been active in the greater Washington DC Metropolitan area music scene for over 30 years. While working as an agent for Barry Rick Associates from 1978 until 1986 he participated in booking tours for the Pointer Sisters and Van McCoy, as well as artists for the Holland American Cruise Line and the Marriott Corporation. Following his departure he then moved on to Productions Unlimited Inc. where he worked with Nils Lofgren, Deanna Bogart, The Nighthawks, Eric Burdon, Brian Auger and Catfish Hodge. In 1998 Marucci Artist Management was formed, and since has served as the entertainment supplier for venues such as Shows Incorporated of Annapolis, Maryland which hosted The Annapolis Jazz Festival, and The Vintage Virginia Wine Festivals, and The Armed Forces Entertainment Network which employs national talent to entertain our service men and women around the globe. As both an acting booking agent and manager, Michael Marucci has represented a varied and exceptional roster of talent such as: His Boy Elroy, Burst of Silence, Orange Whip, Fighting Gravity, Elephant Boy, Kajun Kelley, Niki Barr, Fosterchild, Jeff Miller and Drew Stevyns.
