AMERICAN GIANT
American Giant is a 90's and Modern Rock cover band from the DC/VA/MD area. The band members hail from histories of being in major labels, playing long tours in the United States and abroad. American Giant not only plays the songs that you know and love, but also has the skill and equipment necessary to bring it to you like the bands that they are covering.

CHAD BURROWS Vocals
Equipment - Shure microphones
Chad has sang in original bands since 2002. Most notable from his 4 years as the lead singer of regional powerhouse NUMA, he was also in local favorites Ethix, and Thirteen Curses. Chad has had the honor of sharing stages with some of rocks hottest acts to include Avenged Sevenfold, Saving Abel, The Strokes, Army of me, SOJA, Walls of Jericho, Sevendust, and Drowning Pool, on stages such as Blocktoberfest, House of Blues, and 930 club. Chad continues to play original rock with up and comers One City Mile.

BRYAN SMITH - Bass/Vocals Bryan Smith Bass/Vocals/Samples
Equipment - Ampeg amplification, Ernie Ball Stingray and Shecter bass guitars.
Bryan has played bass and sang backups since the mid-90s. Band history includes, being a founding member of Ebo. Ebo was together for 8 years (1996-2004) and signed to major label Maverick Records in 2002. Since their demise Bryan has played in local area band, The Vicious Martinis, with fellow American Giants, Glenn and Brian Gass. He’s had the honor to share the stage with Live, Cowboy Mouth, Three Days Grace, Lit, Goo Goo Dolls, Emmet Swimming, Sixpence None the Richer, Jason & the Scorchers, Junior Brown, and others.

CLARK BECKER Drums
Equipment - Tama drums, Zildjian cymbals, DW pedals
Clark spent the past 9 years in LA working as a freelance musician as well as playing with his own band City Monk. Noteable career highlights include tours with Heavy Flavor, who opened for Slash's group Snakepit and Eddie Money. Clark toured the UK on several occasions playing at the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool and BBS radio in London w/ The Sugarmen. As a member of the Andy Walo Trio, he opened for Booker T at the Long Beach Blues Festival, performed at the 2008 World Motocross Championship and played at House of Blues in Las Vegas. Clark earned a Bachelors of Music in Jazz Studies from Indiana University where he studied with Kenny Aronoff.

BRIAN GASS Guitar/Vocals
Equipment – Gibson/Fender/Carvin guitars; Bogner Ecstasy amp; TC Electronic effects.
A veteran of the DC music scene, Gass has played in area bands with styles ranging from metal to bluegrass. He spent several years in combinationLOCK with Glenn and is currently playing in The Vicious Martinis with Glenn and Bryan. Gass has shared with stage with noted artists such as The Cult, Buckcherry, Three Days Grace, Blackstone Cherry and Pat Travers.


JC Guitar/Vocals
Equipment - Gibson/Fender Guitars; Soldano amplification; Boss effects pedals.

JC played guitar in the 90's in the original band Sidewalk Religion and toured the Western half of the United States. Sidewalk Religion has shared the stage on numerous occasions with Incubus and have also played with Clutch, Sevendust, Weapon of Choice, Dogg Pound and many others. The song Knockin Non-Believer's made its way to the airwaves and on rotation at Salt Lake City's rock station. JC is also utilizing his talents in the local act Amateur Hour dropping his pick and picking up drum sticks.
